Shape, texture and motion experiment I did for Mindspace, in collaboration with their Creative Director, Chen Mizrach.

The purpose of this project was to explore how Mindspace’s design approach to co-working spaces can be translated into 3D environments, so that it can be digitally manipulated and experimented with, free from the constraints that exist in real life.

This experiment began by examining the different furniture pieces and co-working spaces Mindspace offers globally, focusing on the shapes, colours and textures that make them so visually appealing.

To speed up the discovery and experimentation phases, I used Greyscalegorilla’s tools in order to focus on dialing in the right look faster, rather than losing myself in the endless possibilities of a typical 3D workflow.

Once the initial examination phase was complete, I proceeded to assemble all the elements in 3D and to experiment with different lighting setups and material options.

Based on all of this, I created two short animated videos that encapsulate the brand’s vibe through shapes, textures, motion and sound.
